1. Who we are

This site is operated by Shalini Mathanarajah, an individual sole proprietor trading as "Shalini Matt", based in Toronto, Canada ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the data controller for personal data we collect through this website and the Workout Plan purchase flow. You can reach us at shalini.matt@hotmail.com.

2. Data we collect

• Contact details — name and email address you provide at checkout or via the contact form.
• Order details — order number, purchase date, product purchased, and a personalized PDF generated for you.
• Support messages — anything you send us by email or Instagram DM.
• Technical data — IP address, device/browser info, and basic usage/telemetry from your visit.

Payment card details, billing address, and tax information are collected and processed directly by Paddle as Merchant of Record. We never see or store your full payment card data.

3. How we use your data

• To deliver the Plan you purchased (generate the personalized PDF, send the download link).
• To respond to support questions and resend download links.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and unauthorized sharing of the Plan.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.
• To improve the website and the product.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law (such as the UK/EU GDPR or Canadian PIPEDA) requires a legal basis, we rely on:

• Contract performance — to deliver the Plan you bought and provide support.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and improve the product.
• Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection rules.
• Consent — where required, e.g. for non-essential cookies or marketing emails.

5. Who we share data with

• Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, tax calculation and remittance, invoicing, and refunds. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
• Hosting & backend providers — used to host the website, store your order record, deliver the personalized PDF, and send transactional emails.
• Email delivery — used to send your download link and order confirmation.
• Professional advisers — accountants or legal advisers where reasonably needed.
• Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers operate outside of Canada/UK/EEA; where personal data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

6. How long we keep data

We keep order records (name, email, order number, download token) for as long as needed to support you and to meet tax/accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years). Support messages are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them, then deleted or anonymised. You can request earlier deletion subject to those legal retention requirements.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• request deletion of your data;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw any consent you have given;
• lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls on our backend, signed time-limited download links, and personalized watermarked PDFs. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies needed to run the checkout and keep the site working. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
